I saw the little girl sitting on the sidewalk
Tired and cheeks stained
I knew the reason
“are you tired my little girl?
“yes, I am ….I did not want to be here.
This is not what I thought it would be.”
“I brought you where u always wanted to be”
“now I want to go back…back again
Back to the innocent world.
It was warm and rosy
But I was curious
Was curious about this.
I was excited when you brought me here
But this is not what I was expecting it would be
Its too cruel.
How come those dreams are still dreams?
Or was it just a mirage?”
“ Oh! Mirage u say , my girl?
It is a mirage, but we had fun running behind it, dint we?
See those people are still running…”
“But I am tired, tired of this running
But I know I can’t ever go back
Can not go back to that sunshine
Can not go back to the warm womb”
I sit there on the sidewalk beside her,
My shoulders down
Deep inside, I know I am tired too
“I can take you back, may be”
But I know I am not complete without her.
She knows that too…
She ponderes and smiles
She kisses me on my cheek and says
“I wont leave you alone..
I wont go back and make you run thru the desert by urself
I know you cant make the mirage a reality sans me
Who is gonna bring smiles on
And stars in your eyes?”
I look at her
I know I am not complete without her.
She knows that too…
And there we go, with our eyes at the mirage!

hey ! good one !
nice title too ;)
Tis' not a mirage in this desert of despair,
Fear not my lovely one, for there are many who care
When your shoulders are down and cheeks wet; the burden too hard to bear,
That little girl who you think weak,
Will urge you through the desert bleak.
Trudge on and on, though hard the walk might be,
The temptation to give up will be strong
But in the little girl you must believe
And the gloom of the desert leave behind,
The oasis of success you will soon find.
who is this.. u and ur sawli?????
Very pretty site! Keep working. thnx!
