Fun Monday!

Had lotsa fun on Monday. We had a plan to meet up with the CKP gang. Wasnt doing anythign productive at home so decided to go for '15th Park Avenue' with Manas and G1.
Really good movie. Top class acting by everyone. Aparna Sen is a a really good director. Konkona Sen is just too good in the role of the schizophrenic. Disturbing movie.
The fun part abt the movie was the theater!'Red Lounge' thing at Infiniti Mall. Nice Lazyboy chairs...Really nice experience to watch the movie on the recliner.
Three of us roamed the mall and shopped for two and half hrs till the rest of the gang came. Finally at 8:45pm Anup, Madz, Sush and Nikhil came. Sad that Amit could not make it.
Had a nice dinner at salt n pepper. came home at almost 1:30 am!
I hv so much fun with these ppl. Feels nice to get good friends so unexpectedly! every time I chat with these ppl, I hv good time. Manas and Sushant hv the same SOH...and others at least appreciate it! The whole time we were just laughing. Might meet up again else till next time....

Bloggin after a long time....was too busy having fun!
It was such a great feeling to see my family on the airport...I met the whole Mulund gang after one and half years! Had met Amit when he was inUS though.
The feeling of getting pampered is just too awesome.Back to the security blanket. Just feels like hugging these three ppl and never lettin go....

some jerk (:P) made me realize this. Gotta think of some nice name now....Brainstorming!!!

Piya Tora Kaisa Abhimaan....

Suddenly stumbled upon this song from the movie 'Raincoat'. Had totally forgotten it. Shubha Mudgal's voice and Gulzar's poetry makes it an awesomely enchanting combination. The movie was slow. but I think the song made a strong impact in the movie. Its continuously playing in the background during the main Aishwarya-Ajay part of the movie.The song ,esp.Gulzar's lines portray the helplessness and lonelyness of Aishwarya's character really well. A very moving poetry, I would say. Here are Gulzaar's lines...

There is a version in Hariharan's voice as well. That is haunting too. I liked the one in Shubha Mudgals voice better. It sounds more sad and just loved the effect it makes throughout the movie.
Hatz off to Gulzaar who can write such an awesome lyrics. Shubha Mudgal and Hariharan have sung too good as ever.

Duh! geek!

Watta a geeky name my blog has! I cant undertsand at times how I can be so geeky. Addicted to Java ;)
Thought over my friend circle...all my close friends are geeks. I have a special affinity for geeks I guess. All roomies are more or less geeks even though we try to show that we r not! But statements like ' Oblong is oval rotated 180 degrees' says it all.
I know my blogs gonna suck bigtime. so bad at writing.....so inefficient in putting my thoughts in words......inefficient by default or by choice?
